with kernel 2.6.12-1.1372_FC3smp no Java-Application (DBVisualiser, MKS, JBoss) is able to create a network-connection to another server/database. All other (native) applications are running without any problems. Any hint's !?

I am also seeing this problem, with the non-SMP version (2.6.12-1.1372_FC3). If I drop back to 2.6.11-1.35_FC3 Java apps can access the network without a problem.

This problem is fixed in the latest FC3 (and FC4) kernels, released a couple of days ago.
