I find that the following update causes suspend/resume to fail:
========================================================================== Updating: NetworkManager i686 1:0.8.1-4.git20100817.fc13 NetworkManager-glib i686 1:0.8.1-4.git20100817.fc13 NetworkManager-gnome i686 1:0.8.1-4.git20100817.fc13
==========================================================================
The suspend appears to happen normally, but resume seems to do very little, and ends with a blank screen. I think it makes no entry in "messages". I haven't noticed anyone else reporting this.
The laptop is Dell 9400: Nvidia 7900GS, Kernel 6.33.8-149.fc13.i686.PAE
Thanks

I may be seeing something similar or related. I think I am seeing a second sleep/suspend fail. Close the lid and it goes to sleep. Open the lid and it wakes up. Close the lid again and it hangs. I'll gather some evidence and report back, probably Monday. uname -r: 2.6.34.6-47.fc13.x86_64

I had a similar problem with Lenovo T500 yesterday. It was not reproducible reliably, and oddly the symptom is completely gone today.
There is a bug report against kernel 2.6.34.6-47:
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=629291
with a possible fix.

Ouch. After hit the send button, I restarted the laptop and closed the lid and it went insomnia and I had to force shutdown. This is with the new kernel 34.6-49 mentioned in the above bug report. I'll study it tomorrow.
