Very OT but I need help

I do hope someone can help me here.
Running Fedora 20 fully updated. Installed JDK8 with netbeans this 
evening. All good but when I select <New Project> the Categories section 
has only 5 java selections, no HTML or PHP, nothing.
I have been googling for hours but there's nothing of any help.

Does anyone out there actually use JDK and netbeans and if so can you 
please help with correcting this as I need to help develop a 
HTML5/CSS3/AngularJS application.
