I'm not a Samsung printer user. Just have a nagging memory which leads me to ask....
You've installed the Samsung supplied printer drivers? Did you check /var/log/audit/audit.log for AVC messages?
I recall several messages on the fedora lists which traced Samsung printer issues to selinux alerts.

Yes I very familiar with what your talking about, After installing driver you have to relabel the samsung files. I put Selinux in the permissive mode so that is not the problem here. It is a problem with Fedora printer setup that is causing the problem, some Fedora installs work fine and others are giving me problems on mainly PC's and not laptops.
Thanks for your help.

The rastertosamsungsplc program used in the Samsung driver is crashing with a segfault. Since this driver is not open source, you'll have to contact Samsung to get them to fix it. :-(

Then why is this same driver crashing on some Fedora installs but not others. I have talk to Samsung and they don't see any problems. I firmly believe it is a problem between fedora and setup.

Are they running the same version of Fedora? Your syslog indicates the crash is happening somewhere in glibc. There's a chance there's a regression in glibc (though when the blame lies between some binary driver and a core system library that's exihibiting no other problems, I tend to blame the former first). If you can figure out what version of glibc breaks it, you could file a bug against glibc and maybe get it fixed.
A stack trace would be really useful here, but getting one when its a CUPS filter that's crashing is tricky. Sadly it seems abrt is throwing away the coredump because the crashing binary doesn't belong to a RPM package. :-(

Are they running the same version of Fedora? Your syslog indicates the crash is happening somewhere in glibc. 1. I'm using glibc-2.16-28.fc18 on a PC , and this is the box that won't print, used same install DVD.
2 I'm using glibc-2.16-28.fc18 on a Mini-Laptop that is using same install DVD, and install of printer went off with no errors , it prints without any errors.

Something else I noticed, the Printer Queue does not come up in Tray when doing a print job.

So I assume what you are telling this is the Properties of a goo2 printer, but how did they get it to print color ??

Jim, get a grip. :) There is no "goo2" printer, nor printing on it. As I already mentioned, you can try a virtualized linux based distro, no matter whether it is CentOS, PCLinuxOS or any other distribution in the form of a classical installation or as a livecd. Virtualization can be with libvirt, VBox or any other that you see fit. What is important to you, and to make the printer finally kicked are an appropriate library versions - Ghostscript for the "foo2qpdl" or glibc for the UnifiedLinuxDriver's blobs. If you do not understand exactly what to do, ask - it's the whole point of this group, right?
