Hi,
trying to install fedora 26 on a new laptop but freezes when it gets to the network manager. Is there a way to disable network manager when installing from a live cd? Its the xfce spin.
Thanks Gary.

F26 is still unreleased. Please ask on the Fedora Test list, not here. Note that many testers do not read the Users list (this one).

For this specific question, no. But it could have been had there been a substantial change to the Live CD and/or install process.
To answer your question. There is no provision for disabling the installation of any packages when installing a system from a LiveCD.
Now, is that going to lead to follow-up questions/answer? I would think so. So, that would mean moving the discussion over to the test list if you'd be seeking help from those better able to assist and those who should be made aware of install problems with F26 Beta.
