F18 - gnome-applet-alarm-clock?

Does anyone know if gnome-applet-alarm-clock will be released for F18? 
The only thing I can find regarding this says that the status is 
"deprecated", and I do not know what that means. I realize that this is 
not a top priority item, but I have often used it in previous FC 
releases, and the current clocks available for F18 do not seem to work 
very well, at least the alarm function.
