Hi All,
I need an 8th gen CPU to get Windows 11 to upgrade properly. Which one of qemu-kvm's cpu's is 8th gen?
Many thanks, -T

The i440FX seems to work, but I've only tested it very briefly so YMMV.
poc
W11 apparently thinks my i440FX is a 7th gen
W11 will install on a 7th gen, bu will not upgrade a previous W11 unless you have an 8th gen.

I should clarify that I haven't tested W11, just checked that the TPM thing was detected.
poc
Is your underlying hardware at least an 8th generation cpu?
