FC3 Installation Method dialog? install from hard drive

"The Select Partition screen (Figure 3-3) applies only if you are installing from a
disk partition (that is, if you selected Hard Drive in the Installation Method  dialog).
This dialog allows you to name the disk partition and directory from which you are
installing Red Hat Linux."

My dual boot system:

name    file system     contents
-------------------------------------
C:\     ntfs            windows 2000
E:\     fat32           FC3-i386-DVD.iso
hda3    ext3            fedora core 3

By burning FC3-i386-disc1.iso onto a cd-rw, from
<http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pub/fedora/linux/core/3/i386/iso/>;, a *minimal*
install of linux is on hda3.

I didn't see an "Installation method" dialog...?

Take the file boot.iso from the images directory of your CD-RW and burn 
that to your CD-RW instead. Boot from that and you should get the 
installation method prompt.

As covered in "Appendix H. Additional Boot Options":

"askmethod

    This command asks you to select the installation method you would like
to use when booting from the Red Hat Linux CD-ROM."
