Firefox closes without warning

Hi,

I am trying to visit this site:
http://www.dluxproductions.com/webcandy/

but before page loads, firefox closes without any notice. I can visit
this site from windows (firefox). I have latest firefox 1.5.04 & flash
installed and working perfectly with other flashed based sites. Is
there something wrong with fedora version or missing plugin?

I only have two plugins:
Mplayer
Flash 7

do anybody have idea what's wrong? I have all plugins available in my FC5.

I see the same thing, FC-5, firefox 1.5.04. I suggest you file a
bugzilla report.

this bug is specific to FC5 I guess.

anyway I have tried "ps -A | firefox" to kill the zombie process of
firefox after it closes unexpectedly expecting to get the process
number and firefox but instead firefox starts from nowhere. Do any of
you experienced also the same (specially the FC5 users)?

The site you are trying to view uses Flash. The latest Linux version is Flash
7. The latest Flash version (Windows) is 9. Flash 9 does does a lot more than
Flash 7. Flash 7 does not work on Flash 9 sites. Think about this.

BTW There is no Flash 9 for linux.

this is also flash enabled site but it gives the flash version warning
gracefully. If its solely flash related, this site should also kill
firefox right away like the previous one.

It's the rightmost upper Flash applet that crashes the flash plugin (7.0r63, 
Firefox 1.5.0.5). Also happens in Konqueror (which spawns nspluginviewer 
processes, which in turn crashes). Blame Adobe (Macromedia) for sucking at 
supporting flash on Linux.
