Hi All,
I am thinking of switching from Xfce to Mate. (Too many won't fix bugs in Xfce.)
1) is there a yellow sticky note utility in Mate?
2) is there a way to dual install Mate alongside Xfce and pick which one I want at logon?
Many thanks, -T

No idea, but any X11-based note app will work, including whatever one you currently use.

You can have any number of DEs and select which one to use at login time. This is not specific to Mate or Xfce.

First consider if Mate will be fully supported by Fedora in the future?

Perhaps take a look at Gnote

Samuel:
You answered your own question:
Question: Why would you say that?
Answer: It will be supported as long as there is an upstream and people willing to maintain it in Fedora.
So How long is that (in temporal units please)?
PS: The last time I checked is is NOT supported in CentOS8.

And you can supply an answer regarding support for which other DEs in Fedora (temporal units please).

GentlePeople:
"And you can supply an answer regarding support for which other DEs in Fedora (temporal units please)."
Once again you have made my point:
Support is based on the whim of a few Volunteers,
So User questions about future support and direction are always relivent.
