Hello
I have a removable disk I use with BackupPc. Problem is under Fedora 18 it is managed by udisk and udisk mounts it automatically under /run/media/${USER} with permissions who don't allow any other user than me to reach under the mount point. Unfortunately thus behavior is hard-wired in the code (a bug IMHO) so I want to remove this disk from udisk management. Unfortunately I see nowhere something looking like a configuration file.
Any ideas?

You need to work your way down to the bottom of that web page - the the way to fix this has changed a zillion times :-).

It has, and may have changed again in fc18, will have to check. Isn't some of this in the window manager, at least in some cases? I remember an option in one WM to play music CDs as soon as the tray closed, and that behavior didn't occur in the other WM on the same system. GNOME2 vs. KDE if it matters.
Anyway, a useful trip down memory lane, revealing the need to avoid accepting something with bright new features without careful attention to ugly new limitations.
