Subject: Fedora helps with taxes :-).
My tax software has endless lists of financial institutions
it can import data from, and none of them are ever any of
my financial institutions :-).
So over the years, I've developed the habit of downloading
the PDF tax forms so I can at least cut & paste the correct
numbers with no transcription errors.
Lo and Behold, this year everyone seems to have discovered
the wonders of protected PDF files locked against cut & paste.
Sigh... :-(.
Enter the pdf2ps and ps2pdf tools on fedora! Convert the stoopid
protected pdf to postscript then the postscript back
to pdf and the furshlugginer protected flags are gone!
Now I can cut & paste again...

I did something similar with a locked pdf for a fellow colleague. She was very happy to
edit the new pdf :) With gs (ghostscript ) many things are possible and it is great that
Fedora carries it by default!
Best Regards,
Antonio
It would be nice if it could help with ObamaCare, but that would be asking for too much
:(
