While booting the 2111 kernel I get:
VFS: Cannot open root device "LABEL=/" or 00:00
boots fine from 2110.

The only change between the two was a bugfix to an Adaptec SCSI driver which is obviously correct. My guess is something went horribly wrong at install time. Check your grub.conf

The line for the 2111 kernel look sthe same as the 2110 line. Except for the name of the kernel and initrd.

2115 does boot OK.
