control characters

Hi,

After I upgraded to FC3, my control characters, like arrows, delete,
backspace, etc., are messed up.  They work fine in terminal itself,
are messed up in programs, like less, ftp, yum, ...  bascially any
interactive command-line programs.

How to fix it?

Which terminal emulation program are you using?

Can you post the results of
echo $TERM
echo $LANG
set | grep LC
