I know it's not exactly Fedora related. I feel stupid already. I am trying to exclude the '.ssh' directory from the rsync. I've already tried all the permutations I could find on the web without success. Now I have given up and i am forced to ask for help. Thanks in advance, Bob

Thanks, I found the problem. rsync --rsync-path="sudo rsync" I had to use this because a simple "sudo rsync" didn't work. I don't know why, but it works now. In any case, thanks.
