I am having problem installing a printer for a friend. It is a new F35 install and the printer is a Samsung ML-1640 connected via USB. The installation via CUPS seems good but if I try the "Test Page" nothing happens and "journalctl -u cups -e "

Where did you get the ppd file from and rastertospl? Make sure that rastertospl is executable and has all the libraries it needs.

But the error seems to be from a different filter "gstoraster". I'll check that when I have access again but I traid ldd on both on my machine (another recent F35) and it was OK. G

gstoraster is dying because it can't write to whatever program is supposed to be reading its output. Check the full journal logs to see if there are any other messages at that time that could indicate what's happening.
