xine media player

[Nathan Low]

Can someone tell me step by step to download this
software?  When I tried, the OK button was gray when a
window popped up.  Please respond.  Thanks.

1. Configure yum with a repository that has xine, e.g. freshrpms:

rpm -Uvh http://ftp.freshrpms.net/pub/freshrpms/fedora/linux/3/freshrpms-release/fres...

2. Install xine:

yum install xine

He prbably has to add freshrpms to the yum repository. I don't think it 
comes configured in FC3.

Step 1 in the instructions above does that.
