copy/paste nedit -> geany

I cannot make a copy/paste from nedit to geany editors.
How could I bypass this glitch?

Reproducing here.. and no solution either. Just amazed that the
standard copy/paste buffer and the x11 mouse copy, stuff that work
everywhere, don't work here! I tried all ways between
nedit/pluma/geany, it's only nedit->geany that doesn't work.

Can you paste into a terminal and recopy from there?
I wonder if there is a issue withe mime type that nedit puts on the clipboard.
Often going via terminal will convert to plain text.

The bug has been reported, but never solved if I am correct.
