Mouse not working

I just installed Fedora Core 3.  I'm using xfce and a serial mouse.  I 
seem to recall a message during bootup saying the serial mouse was 
recognized (where do I check that?), yet for some reason, the mouse is 
not working in X.

What device name would the mouse be given?  How can I figure out what's 
going wrong?

How about running 'system-config-mouse' - and see if it fixes it (and
also 'system-config-display' - to make sure other things in xorg.conf
are correct)

Yes, that fixed it, thanks!  For some reason, it had thought the mouse 
was on COM4, but was actually on COM1.

Usually the mouse device would be /dev/input/mice
