XFce panel justification

Greetings,

With F18, all items in a panel, at least those that you place across the 
top or bottom of a screen, seem to be left-justfied by some sort of 
default.

Is there a way to change this?

You will probably also want to make the separator invisible so you don't 
get a bar in the middle of the space between the right and left items.

Once installed on the panel left click it to get to its properties.  You 
want Appearance->Style->Transparent

Select the word "Transparent" from Properties.

Then you have the problem figuring if you have separator ...
