Fedora Videos Group In FAS
by nitesh narayan lal
Hi,
Chris had just made a group for Fedora Videos in FAS. Please join it.
And there is a good news, we had reclaimed the youtube channel.
Although the bad news is that we are not able to post anything on it,
but we will be able to do it soon.

Hi Kevin,
All the videos on vimeo Fedora channel are in .ogv format. On youtube we
have a mixture of formats, I already have the list of available videos its
just about separating them based on the format and categories.
I would agree that the content has to be reviewed before it becomes
publicly available as there could be several issues related to licensing
which could be missed out by anyone unknowingly.

I like option 1 personally, I think it would be easier to setup and if someone joins the video group and have something to upload they can right away.
I would like to get a few other opinions though, I have included the video mailing list to get Nitesh's input too.

1. Just setup a 'group' space on fedorapeople.
So, it would be under: http://fedorapeople.org/groups/
There's no quota there, and anyone with fedorapeople or a video group
access could arrange things. There's no backups of this space
currently.

Re: Fedora Infrastructure Video Published

These have been added to the video section on the Fedora Magazine. I
have also added the join Fedora video as well. Nitesh also brought up he
has a lot of videos that are on Youtube that he has created. He is
working on getting them into categories, I think it would be awesome to
get them on the magazine site as well once he finishes.

Opinions about collecting Fedora related Videos
by nitesh narayan lal
Hi,
I am just wondering if it would be a good idea to ask the existing
contributors or people who answers questions on ask Fedora for videos.
Videos could be anything related to Fedora project such as a simple
how to video based on the question asked on ask Fedora.
We could provide Fedora badges or something else which would be
visible on there profile on websites like ask Fedora etc..
Since its just an initial idea and needs refinement.
I wanted to gather few opinion about it first and then go for it on wiki etc.
