Hi folks, My name is Henrique and I'm one of the Brazilian ambassadors of Fedora here in Brazil. We,re going to integrate a variety of tools to Fedora Project Brazil and one of these tools is a wiki (that is online and working for almost one year now)[1]. We'd like to use the same skin as https://fedoraproject.org/wiki uses. Is there any chance to get the same skin used by Fedora Project's international mediawiki? difficulty in creating account

i have half way registered in fedora website but cant access my home page....i have to fill some things like latitude,longitude,IRC nick,well the website irc.freenode.net is not working,GPG key id,Public RSA SSH Key,i dont know what they are and how to make the key the instruction is difficult to understand like this : Public RSA SSH Key Many resources require public key authentiaction to work. By uploading your public key to us, you can then log in to our servers. Type "man ssh-keygen" for more information on creating your key (it must be an RSA key). Once created you will want to upload ~/.ssh/id_rsa.pub...what this means.....and i cannot find india in asia....for time....and i see that the form for free cd is closed and there i came on a sentence that we have to provide a cd....well i hope UBUNTU is better than this...i easily sign up there...and getting free cd's from past a year with out any difficulty...

I am a "regular joe" visitor to your website.I'm pretty savvy with computing but still chained to Windows XP.I'm passionate about saving the world and ,upon reviewing the benefits of an open source operating system,would love to try it. Then i get stuck.And I mean stuck! Does the open source community cater just to the Technically Advanced?Doesnt this run counter to the set goals of the open source community? Surely at some point the open source community (and your website) must make this revolution available to all.Even though your "product" is free.....no-one knows how to use it! feedback

I have read in no less than 5 places on your website how much feedback is valued, yet I have found the feedback process cryptic and frustrating. All I wanted to do was provide a little feedback before uninstalling fedora, not join a club or create the one thousandth password that will never be used again. Nor read endless pages of someone else's opinions. I just wanted to pass on a comment that I though might be of some use to developers. If your developers truly want honest feedback then perhaps you might suggest to them that they create a conduit for that purpose that does not require all of the BS. -- Thanks, Dan Adams.

Join Fedora

Hi, Apparently the "OS Developer" icon in join Fedora page doesn't translate well into "testing" or "maintaining packages" for many people. There was a brief discussion in fedora-devel list starting at https://www.redhat.com/archives/fedora-devel-list/2008-December/msg02553.... To summarize, maybe "Fedora Developer", "Developer" or "Developing/ Testing" or individual icons for these that point to the same section might be better. Rahul

Self Introduction

Hello everyone, My name is Jeffrey Ravenhorst, and i'm interested in contributing to the fedora websites project. I've been doing web programming/design for about 6 years now (i guess that's not a really long time, but i'm only 21), and its pretty much my favorite thing to do as far as computing goes. I'm currently a senior at Longwood University in virginia, usa, working on a BS in computer science (they really don't do much web stuff there, but i do a lot on my own and for work). Anyways, i hope i can help out... here are some of the things i consider myself useful for: php, mysql, xhtml, xml, javascript, css, java, c++, graphic design and probably others. Me and 3 other students are making a cluster of 32 fedora 9 machines for our CMSC department (very small department...) so that's what got me into fedora (i've always used XP.. but i just wiped my laptop and put fedora 10 on it). So, let me know where i should start!
