Request for extra strings
by Paul W. Frields
Sijis,
One of the things Ricky pointed out on the redesign is the need for
the special "starred" tags to also provide translation. Can you put
in dummy strings on a page in a <div> or <span> container that's
invisible, so translators can go ahead and translate those strings?
Then we can work on making these starred tags part of the CSS.

Moblin spin website: things needed for completion
by Mel Chua
Hi! We're sprinting (as you may have noticed) on the spin pages for the
F13 release. Will be addressing each spin page separately - right now,
this email is about the Moblin spin. Sending to Websites list, current
spin owners, and Marketing (for a content sanity check).
The status of this list will be changing rapidly in the next 35 minutes.
Will update when current sprint is done.

== blocking ==
* Download: Make sure download links point to the correct image.
* Content: Front page needs to be fixed to not refer to education. :)
* Screenshots: taken, need to be uploaded into design
* Design: need all banners for this spin made, as per
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Spin_webpage_creation_SOP#Create_the_images
* CSS: the "support" tab is dropped below the other tabs; need to fix
alignment.
* Website linked from main spins.fp.o page: not yet (only when all other
blockers are cleared)
== non-blocking ==
* About tab: good content. probacould have more screenshots if someone
wants to improve upon this, but totally not mandatory.
* How To Help: How can people participate? Is this evident from
somewhere on the spins page? (note: we may want to consider adding a
"Participate!" or "Want to help?" tab to the design, but that's a convo
for later)
== done ==
* Support tab: points to all the right places for the mini group
* Website exists: yes, http://spins.fedoraproject.org/moblin/

Update for Fedora teams: What's happening with the Allegheny class?
by Mel Chua
Just checked in with jadudm and updated the #fedora-mktg channel, but
figured the other two teams (as well as Marketing folks who are not
in-channel right now) should also know, and that the FS102 students
should see what's being said about them. ;)
Thank you, as always, for being part of this grand experiment. I'm
*really* pleased with what we've done and what we've learned so far.
--Mel
15:46 < mchua> ok - update for folks looking for Allegheny people: this
week is their last week of class to work on projects, and they're out
filming video interviews about what they've done so far
15:46 < mchua> they also have a reflection paper that we'll be getting
which should provide a lot of insight on what the new contrib experience
is like
15:46 < mchua> so a lot of them are off doing that today
15:46 < mchua> but they have been encouraged to hit the lists and tell
us how they're winding down their projects
15:47 * mchua hopes this is accurate, will send to mktg list and ask
jadum and DarrenMiller to correct if needed
15:47 < mchua> so after class today I'll be looking at the status of
each team's project and seeing what we know and what we've seen from the
Fedora side of what they've done
15:48 < mchua> and then we can go from there (They might go "oh, we did
more, here is where you haven't found it yet" or someone else in Fedora
might go "oh, Mel, you totally missed X")
15:48 < mchua> and thursday is our chance to wind down with 'em
15:48 < mchua> and then... well, we'll have the release
15:48 < mchua> But after that we'll be sure to do a debrief about how
the class experience went, and how we can do better next time.
15:48 * mchua is, overall, very pleased
15:48 < mchua> (and barely keeping up)
15:49 * mchua --> deliverables!

Security spin website: things needed for completion
by Mel Chua
Hi! We're sprinting (as you may have noticed) on the spin pages for the
F13 release. Will be addressing each spin page separately - right now,
this email is about the Security spin. Sending to Websites list, current
spin owners, and Marketing (for a content sanity check).
Just talked with Hiemanshu on IRC about this, and here's what needs to
be done (Hiemanshu has offered to do it, but is also on vacation now, so
any help would, I'm sure, be welcomed. ;) Anything I'm missing from this
list, please add. And if you'd like this on the websites trac instead,
let me know and I can do that (Hiemanshu requested it as an email to the
list).
--Mel
== blocking ==
* Download: Make sure download links point to the correct image.
== non-blocking ==
* Content: done enough to ship; if we want a more extensive "About" tab,
someone should write it though.
* Screenshots: ok, but old from F12; new ones need to be taken and uploaded.
* Support: edit page to point to the Fedora Security community resources
(wherever that is - do you folks have a mailing list or IRC channel?
right now the page points only to generic ones).
* How To Help: Hiemanshu would like to compile a package wishlist and
have it available from the spin website so people can start helping with
that; this may be easiest to do as a wiki page that gets linked to, but
in any case we'll let whoever picks up this task figure out how they
want to do it.
== done ==
* Design: appears to be all set. Hurrah for the design team!
* Website exists: yes, http://spins.fedoraproject.org/security
* Website linked from main spins.fp.o page: yes

Hi folks,
I'm the owner of both the Sugar on a Stick and Design Spin and helping
Peter Robinson with the Moblin Spin. Mel and I are currently sprinting
on the spin pages and she approved me for the FAS groups. I'm going to
be around on the list and will help further with these pages as soon
as my subscription to the list gets through (confirmation seems to be
delayed at some point and hasn't reached my inbox, yet).
Cheers,

Re: Web F13 mistake??
by Chrisito
I took it from this URL:
https://translate.fedoraproject.org/projects/p/fedora-web/c/master-fedora...
I also found some other "issues", I attached a text file with my findings.
I hope the web master also see this issues.
Kind regards
