Three-column layout wannabe: content column too narrow
by Kristof Zelechovski
Regarding your page Projekt Fedora <http://fedoraproject.org/pl/get-fedora>
: the middle column containing main content is too narrow and therefore it
is hard to read (horizontal resolution 600) and there is no alternative
style.
I suggest:
* moving the .download-sidebar to the #sidebar, and/or
* setting .download-block { margin-right } to a smaller value
(margin-right: 0 would be just fine), and/or
* setting .content { min-width: 60em } and unsetting .wrapper {
overflow }.
Please fix.

Possible Broken Link
by Brian R
Please note that when accessing your Web site the following was
encountered.
On your page https://fedoraproject.org/en/verify there is a line
'Windows user? Follow these instructions instead'
This appears to be a link to
http://docs.fedoraproject.org/readme-burning-isos/en_US/sn-validating-fi
les.html
However when clicking on this link an 'HTTP 404 Not Found' page is
presented.
I hope that this is of some assistance to you.

Hello / Introduction
by Garland Binns
Hey All,
My name's Garland. I'm 28, live in Chicago, and just switched from Windows 7
to Fedora 12. I love it and want to do whatever I can to support the
platform. I specialize in web development, web design, SEO, SEM, & SMM. With
regard to development, the languages that I am most familiar with are HTML
and CSS, however, for the past few years I have been more in a project
management role so I am definitely a bit rusty. I am looking to expand my
horizons and learn as much as I can, especially when it comes to LAMP, AJAX,
and other web-related languages & technologies.
When is the next meeting? I already looked through some of the past logs and
if it's okay, would love to attend.
if there is anything I can do in the meantime or if anyone needs assistance
I am more than happy to help!
Sincerely,
Garland

Get Redesign Project
by Sijis Aviles
All,
Yesterday I enabled the get-redesign repo in staging
(http://stg.fedoraproject.org/) so that everyone could see/review the
current status of the redesign. Its definitely not completed and there
is work needed to be done, particularly with browser testing, images
and object spacing.
Please spend some time and look over it. Feel free to provide any
patches to that these pages look great on different browsers/OSes.
You can find us in #fedora-websites or in the list.
Thanks,
Sijis
