Thanks for contributing some fix-bits, Matt!
For anyone looking to work on the results, here's a wiki page that
describes, step by step, what you need to do to modify the content,
test it locally, and send patches:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/How_to_fix_bugs_on_the_Fedora_Project_website
You don't need to have any special permission to contribute in this
way.

mirrors.fp.o subpages now in fedora-web
by Matt Domsch
I moved all non-MirrorManager content that's in the mirrors.fp.o/ site
into the fedora-web module. Right now that's only the releases.txt
file used by preupgrade, but if there's a need for more stuff there in
the future, it can be managed like all other fedora-web content now.
Thanks,
Matt

{www.,}fedoracommunity.org added to fedora-web module
by Matt Domsch
I added a very bare bones index.html file for the top-level
fedoracommunity.org and www addresses. This simply lists the
country-specific subsites under the fc.o domain, to make them easily
discoverable. Not being a web page guru, it could use some love from
someone who is.
Thanks,
Matt

Right now on Planet Fedora it is hard to identify who a given planet
poster is. We don't enforce / require people to use their real name and
sometimes they don't. We also don't have any link to what FAS account a
given feed is coming from which has caused some confusion. It makes it
difficult to contact posters sometimes.
= recommendation =
Can we add a variable to planet so that the FAS account name of a user
could be displayed in the planet template file for planet Fedora? The end
goal here is to have a link to the user's FAS profile from each of their
blog posts so it's clear to readers who posted what and how to contact
that user.

[PATCH] Update get-help to reflect new default IRC client
by Todd Zullinger
From: Eric Christensen <eric(a)christensenplace.us>
Empathy replaced Pidgin as our default IRC client. This fixes
bz#610977.
---
All, Eric kindly provided this fix for bz#610977. Anyone spot
anything wrong with it?
Eric, is the email above the one you'd prefer for attribution in the
git history? If not, that's easy to change. Just let me know.
Thanks!

Call for help
by Ian MacGregor
Greetings,
Ian MacGregor here, I'm the wiki tender for the Fedora Classroom.
I have been asked several times lately about how to edit the Fedora
Wiki. Some folks are finding typo's and grammar errors and wish to help
improve the wiki but don't know how to edit or are unfamiliar with the
mediawiki syntax.
Currently there is a request for a "How to use the fedoraproject.org
wiki" class on the classroom page. I do not yet have the expertise to be
able to properly give a class on this topic but I'm betting there are
some Websites Team members who do. So, I'd like to ask the team for
help. If you feel you have the skills and can teach a class on how to
use/edit the fp.o wiki, please consider signing up to give a class.
Even if you aren't able give a class on this subject, perhaps there is a
class request that you can fulfill.
Information about teaching a class can be found here:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Classroom#Teaching_a_class
The current list of requested classes can be found here:
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Classroom#Suggest_a_class
I maintain the classroom/archives pages and I also post the class
schedule to the Fedora Forums calendar. Let me know if you need
assistance in setting up a class and I will do my best to help.

#1983: file is corrupted: maniadrive-music-1.0-2.fc8.noarch.rpm

Reporter: cra | Owner: webmaster

= phenomenon =
The maniadrive-music-1.0-2.fc8.noarch.rpm file, which exists as several
hardlinked copies in the fedora/linux/releases/8/Everything hierarchy, is
corrupted. The identical file is carried in Fedora 9 and that copy is
fine. Perhaps the corruption happened when Fedora 8 was moved from the
master mirror to the archives mirror.
= reason =
Comparing the copy in 8 to the one in 9, we see that the files are
supposed to be identical, but that the copy in 8 is corrupted:
>rpm -Kv fedora/linux/releases/{8,9}/Everything/i386/os/Packages

Restore maniadrive-music-1.0-2.fc8.noarch.rpm from a known-good backup
copy, or perhaps from the Fedora 9 Everything repo. The file appears
hardlinked in the Fedora 8 Everything repo on archives.fedoraproject.org
