Road to F22 final websites
by Robert Mayr
So F22 Beta has been released quite smooth and all is running as expected.
As we will have a lot do for F22 GA and many websites will get important
updates, I'm going to branch F22 asap and merge our spins-redesign branch
into it.
We will have 2 new websites and one completely redesigned so there is
really a lot to do still and we also need to create sources on zanata for
L10n folks.
Spins.fpo and Labs.fpo are coming up quite nice and I hope we can have
working staging pages very soon.
Yes, that means we need to work close to Infra and all Spin SIGs and don't
have to forget about translations.
I'll try to update you all once the merging part is done and will also file
some tickets where we can discuss more about the technical part.
Any help is welcome, also ideas or proposals.
We have only a month to get it all running, but I'm sure we will make it
again, as always :)

Beta branch (f22-beta) has been created, most of the scripts and work has
already been done for Alpha and variables should help us a lot:
* change globalvar state
* add beta banner
* add beta checksums and remove alpha
* change ISO image sizes
* add AMI IDs (contact oddshocks) once we have a GO for a RC
* check DL links and verify they are consistent with the new paths
* Spins, ARM and Docker are in spins.fpo
We are not going to have a countdown banner. The script won't work and
it's also a huge work for design team. Finally we don't have a good place
where we could put it. Any ideas are welcome but I'd propose to drop the
release counter for F22.

Fedora webpages have changed a lot in the last year and more new webpages
are coming. getfedora.org and the new start.fedoraproject.org are just the
beginning and both moved from a 960 grid to bootstrap too.
In whatcanidoforfedora.org the websites team is linked to the wiki page,
so it's really necessary to show the most updated information there, and
not projects with a deadline in spring 2012 :)
The wiki is probably the most urgent task, but we have also other docs
which should be updated.
Remember we are also moving to Zanata, any reference to Transifex will be
soon outdated too.

by Jaroslav Reznik
Fedora 22 Beta Release Readiness Meeting.
date: 2015-04-09 place: irc.freenode.net in #fedora-meeting-2
time: 19:00 UTC (3 PM EDT, 12 noon PDT, 21:00 CEST)
This Thursday, April 09, we will meet to make sure we are coordinated
and ready for the Beta release of Fedora 22 on Tuesday, April 14, 2015.
Please note that this meeting will occur on April 09 even if the
release is delayed at the Go/No-Go meeting on the same day two hours
earlier.
You may received this message several times, but I was asked to open this
meeting to the teams and I'll also hope this will raise awareness and more
team representatives will come to this meeting. This meeting works best
when we have representatives from all of the teams. We also have a badge!

No Wi-Fi On My Fedora
by Madhurima Chatterjee
Hey all,
I just installed fedora 21 on my laptop (after a bunch of problems) and now
when I am finally ready to clone the website, here's what I find - no
provision at all for Wi-Fi !
I can connect the LAN at my lab but can't do anything otherwise. Kindly
help me figure out a solution so that I can start my contribution to fedora
ASAP!
