Hi folks,
I am happy that we have a developer.fedoraproject.org page.
We need to improve it and help to users.
Could you please create a DNS record developers.fedoraproject.org
which will refer to developer.fedoraproject.org?
I guess, it would be awesome to have it before.

#367: website and login problems and confusions
----------------------+------------------------------------
Reporter: oskar | Owner: webmaster
Type: defect | Status: new
Priority: major | Milestone:
Component: General | Keywords: link, mailing list, ux
Blocked By: | Blocking:

Each and every website connected to fdora project uses different
terminology furthermore different authentication system. I.e. I wanted to
join to the design team at the link
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Join_the_Design_Team
As suggested I had to subscribed to the mailing list, however when i
registered it turned out that the link at the above page points to some
old version of the mailman system where I had to create a subscription. So
it didn't work. Then I found out the sudden blue a different link where I
could register with mozilla persona login that is third one given the fact
that I had to create a fedora account as well as suggested on the join
page.
I also checked and in the websites group page at the join to mailing list
section the link is wrong as well. here
https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Websites/Join
So my original plan was to join to the design team, however now i have to
keep in mind 4 different login credentials, and at each page there is a
different naming structure. E.g. to submit this bug report i was asked for
an open id which turned out to be equivalent with my fedora account, but
with FAS account cannot access the same subscription I did with persona
at the mailing list.
My brief suggestion was to try to consolidate all these websites and
services and use a single type of authentication service, that is call the
same at each and every websites.
Eg. now i have different credentials for fedora account, to the wiki site,
to the mailing list where my suggestion was to use only the
fedora account that was valid to everywhere.
thanks,
Karoly

1. $ fedfind images -m Postrelease
This finds an image

which doesn't appear on the dashboard. It'd be nice if it did.
2. Ideally if all Cloud products could be organized under a Cloud heading,
rather than appearing generically under Images.

Hi team,
I am getting security cert. errors when visiting
https://koji.fedoraproject.org in Firefox 44, Chromium 46 and Konqueror,
the error message from the latter reads: "The certificate is not signed
by any trusted certificate authority". However it does appear to be
signed by "Fedora Project CA".
Regards
Robert
Dear sir or madam,
for the website:
https://fedoraplanet.org/
a certificate is used that authenticates as:
*.fedorapeople.org
As you can see the names do not match and an error message about an invalid certificate is displayed.
Please, use a matching certificate.
Thank you in advance and happy holidays.

Dear Fedora project,
I have tried to browse the link to the UK region community page. But it
does not work.
I posted a question [1] on fedoraforums.org.

Hello,
I am having trouble to login to lists.fedorahosted.org. In May 2015 I
subscribed to a mailing list there and now I'd like to change this mail.
I thought this would be no problem as I still know the password and I'm
quite sure I also know the mail used for signing up there.
However it seems that the login system has changed and now you can only
login using a Fedora account, Persona or Yahoo. Obviously I can't do
this.
Could you help me? I can provide mail and password if you want.
Additionally I tried to sign up for a mail account on
admin.fedoraproject.org, but I did not received the confirmation mail.
Mail used for signing up: lists.rugk(a)posteo.de. User name: rugk
It would be nice if you could have a look on this.
Furthermore I saw you already support DNSSEC. What about supporting DANE
too?
Here you can find more information:

Roland Krüger
