[fedora-websites] Issue #735: Modular Server page

robyduck reported a new issue against the project: `fedora-websites` that you are following: `` F27 Beta is coming soon and there was (still is) some discussion about Modular Server. We will probably not release Modular Server for the F27 Beta release date, but despite of *when* it will come out, we need to prepare/rewrite the server website for modularity in any case, as the Council already approved it. My plan would be to release F27 Beta websites and immediately start branching a devel branch for Modular Server, which could become real after some weeks of the Beta release date. * Design team has been asked for a new logo: https://pagure.io/design/issue/545 * @pfrields and @duffy will help from a design and texting POV (YAY) As this will be a lot of new strings we need to freeze translations before pushing the source files and should make sure our scripts for checksums point to the right links. There is not much we know other than that actually, I'll add information below once we get them. [fedora-websites] Issue #732: Provide some screenshots or large images for Workstation and Server (and maybe some Labs)?

mbriza reported a new issue against the project: `fedora-websites` that you are following: `` All the Spins and some Labs have pretty, large and even up-to-date screenshots on their respective download pages. Workstation doesn't have anything like that and there is no one-stop place where I could get the screenshot (or more of them) to use in Fedora Media Writer (that links to the Spins screenshots as they are on the website and then downloads them on the fly). That applies to Server, too (harder to do a screenshot, I know) and most of the Labs (that have nice wide banners which could be used instead in FMW, though). [fedora-websites] Issue #756: Idea for consideration: Redirect front page of fedoraprojecct.org to new overview docs

This was always meant to be temporary until we could get Fedora Hubs up and going. I still expect that's what we'll do, but in the meantime, the audience for getfedora.org — that is, people looking to get the Fedora OS right now — isn't the same as for the project website overall. What if we redirect, instead, to the new Fedora Project Overview documentation? Mindshare elections - appointment of Web and Design's representative

Hi all, as usual we have upcoming elections, but we won't have FAmSCo elections this time. Instead we will have elections for the new Fedora Mindshare Committee [1], which is not only for ambassadors but also for other outreach teams like Web and Design. Mindshare has appointed and elected seats, similar to the Council, and Web and Design will share one seat. Each outreach team will make its own process to choose the representatives, but we need them by the end of the election period. Please keep in mind that the new Mindshare Committee needs to define many processes in the first months, that means having experienced representatives within Mindshare will be helpful to have success. Once you have appointed your representative, please open an issue in the Mindshare pagure [2] where you communicate who will be in charge for Web and Design.
