Actually, Zimbra is not just the desktop client, it&#39;s the server too. And it was bought by Yahoo but built by a smaller company at first.<br>

Looking like they are friendly to open source doesn&#39;t mean Google is open source. Yahoo! is very friendly to open source and actually uses open source where Google does not.<br>
