Hello

My name is Ali Ouajjani from Morocco and I am really interested in contributing to the Open Source that's why I've chosen to participate in this project.
I don't have anything concrete that i can call Experience, but i consider myself as a fast-learner
Until now, in the field of Web I have managed to learn  HTML, CSS, PHP... and i am looking forward to master them and learn more skills that could help our community and the Fedora Website Project.
Right now i am looking for an internship in London because i just got my Bachelor degree in Computer Engineering and i was hoping that i can participate in the project  so that i can have a better view of the Virtual and Professional World.

Looking forward to hear
from you
Ali Ouajjani

Hi Ali,

I guess you have already looked at our join page [1], where you find most of the informations needed to join the websites group. Your HTML and CSS skills are welcome, but we don't use PHP. However, your PHP skills will help you to learn Python, because our pages are build with this language, and we use the Genshi framework for internationalization.
It would be a good idea taking a look at the 960 grid system [2], because you will find many divs in our sources.

Finally, to get started, you need:
* to clone our repo. See [3] and join the web FAS group.
* start working on tickets, see easyfix [4] at the beginning or our Trac [5]. You can send your patches there.

Please ask if you have any doubts, writing to the websites Mailing List or on IRC channel #fedora-websites, located on the freenode server.
