[fedora-websites] Issue #838: The Alt Cloud page should list all Architectures that have cloud images available
pbrobinson reported a new issue against the project: `fedora-websites` that you are following: `` It's confusing to have Cloud and not have all the supported architectures that support cloud images listed in the downloads, I've had numerous queries since the release of Fedora 28 as to why there's not various architecture cloud images to which my reply is there is but when the people show me there's only x86 listed in the Alt cloud page.

robyduck added a new comment to an issue you are following: `` That's intentionally, because if you are looking for images of a specific architecture you should go there, and not to a specific page. We list all images WGs want to have, in some occasions we just link to another website (i.e. for Desktop ARM images we don't list them on spins.fp.o or getfedora.org, but we just link to arm.fpo). ``

Yes, as I said above. Cloud images of alternate architectures, for example, are on alt.fp.o/alt. The same applies for other specific images of alternate architectures, I don't see any inconsistency here.
I know you said that, but there is no indication of where to find them from the page I link above, if someone goes to the cloud page looking for a cloud image for another architecture before there is *NO* indication we do cloud images for anything other than *x86* so they leave with the opinion that we don't do cloud images for anything but x86_64. This (and the other tickets) are non intuitive, this is causing press *not* to report on a bunch of non x86 developments which is impacting the project.
Please link to the tickets/,meeting notes/discussions where the decision was made by the WG not to list all the cloud images on the same page ``

We can't add thousand links back and forward just because someone looks on the less logical page. If I want to have an image of a specific architecture I will go first to the specific architecture page, not elsewhere. And if there is any reason why some images of this architecture are not listed there but elsewhere, then I will get a link which leads me towards what I am searching for. You want us to link backwards, which doesn't make any sense, it just creates a confusing page where people will find so many links they don't know anymore what to do, unless we add another dozen of paragraphs to explain what these links or images are for.

Well the numerous queries I get (around a dozen so far this week alone) actually contradict everything you say here, and on other tickets. And if a dozen or so people can't find it and know to ask me I'd *hate* to know how many users just go to another distribution because it's too hard to find what they need here! ``

Is there a way we can help clearly steer them in the right direction, without making a confusing maze of links? ``

Also, having dozens....but ok, to answer your question @mattdm, no there is no real good way to avoid link confusion. If you wanted to have just links then why we made this website? We had links in the old ugly page where people who knew about what they want to download could just grab them. Alt.fp.o is a more user oriented website and has the goal to drive people to the right image they are looking for, even if they initially don't know what the right image is. That is done with descriptions and questions like "are you look g for this or that? Then go here..." If you want to overpopulated the cloud page with links to any kind of cloud images (we need also to ask if a user didn't want to get atomic, just to be consistent) then the cloud page becomes just...useless. This has nothing to anymore with targeting or website organization. It's just a thought of someone without looking at the whole thing. ``

From what i can gather, it is just the two additional ARM cloud images (raw and qcow for openstack) that will need to be added to the top section "Fedora 29 Cloud Base images" on this page, right?
