Hello everyone,
My name is Jeffrey Ravenhorst, and i'm interested in contributing to the fedora websites project.
I've been doing web programming/design for about 6 years now (i guess that's not a really long time, but i'm only 21), and its pretty much my favorite thing to do as far as computing goes. I'm currently a senior at Longwood University in virginia, usa, working on a BS in computer science (they really don't do much web stuff there, but i do a lot on my own and for work). Anyways, i hope i can help out... here are some of the things i consider myself useful for:
php, mysql, xhtml, xml, javascript, css, java, c++, graphic design and probably others.
Me and 3 other students are making a cluster of 32 fedora 9 machines for our CMSC department (very small department...) so that's what got me into fedora (i've always used XP.. but i just wiped my laptop and put fedora 10 on it).
So, let me know where i should start! Especially for the next month... it's winter break, and if i'm not involved in something productive i'll surely get the winter-time blues.

Hey, welcome! We have weekly meetings on Mondays (although we've missed a few this month), so if you can make it, we have one in about 45 minutes in #fedora-meeting on irc.freenode.net.
Hopefully we'll be able to work out some tasks for people to work on in the meeting.
Thanks, Ricky
Welcome Jeff. I'm new as well and I need to send out an intro email too. Funny story, it was actually your "self introduction" email that key'd me into the online meeting that was taking place 20 minutes before I joined. So thanks Jeff. I always wanted to join an open source project, but never took the first step. Now I'm a part of the websites group.
