I think this is much better than the previous takes. The glow nicely
fits with the "coming soon" idea.

Not exactly what I had in my head (in fact I was not sure what to do) 
but is not bad, is more "flashy" than the initial one. And as long as we 
don't abuse lens flares (i.e. not use them on *every* graphic), it 
should be OK.

For F10 we jumped[1] from the Beta banner to the counter, so I guess is 
sensible to to this again, a banner for the preview is of little use if 
we already count down.

Hey, thanks a lot for creating the banner!  I just uploaded them, and
the countdown banner should start showing up tomorrow.

By the way, would it be possible to make an updated version of the 1 day
banner?  Right now, it says "1 days," and where it should be "1 day."
The same might be true for the Italian one.

I'm about to send the an email to fedora-trans-list about getting more
translations for the countdown.  Any idea who I can refer translators to
if they need help work the graphics work and who they should send their
translated SVGs to in order to be generated?

I already asked opinions for translations to the Italian team. At
first glance, it could be an issue to keep the "coming" and "arriving"
concepts distinct after translation.
Is the text set in stone or can we tune it to ease translations?

It's up to the translator's best judgement to make it sound natural in
their language.  If it's necessary to change the words a bit, feel free.

Not sure if this shouldn't be extended a little more, e.g. in Czech we
have '1 den' (1 day), '2,3,4 dny' (2,3,4 days respectively) and starting
with five it's '5,... dní' (5,... days). At first I though this "middle
plural" was called dual (not sure if it's same in English, but basically
it means that two's are commonly treated neither as singular nor as
plural), but seeing, that this goes up to 4... And IIRC it is very much
similar in Russian and probably many other Slavic languages.
