Hi everyone,
As you probably know, the new Fedora website is being finished right now.
Now we want to check everything and make sure it's all in tip top shape and ready to be released. I've started a page[1] where we can document all the little fixes that still need to be done. Think CSS fixes, missing images, missing links, stuff like that.
If you've got some time, please go over the pages on http://stg.fedoraproject.org/ and check them for any mistakes/errors/bugz. If you find any, post 'em on the page. :)
Hop over to #fedora-websites if you've got any questions.
Jef

i found a few problems: in the features page, the link to About Fedora is broken. in the Using Fedora page, the string "Tutorials, tips & tricks to make your Fedora experience awesome!" is not in the POT file, so i can't translate it.
also, please don't forget to add RTL support!

The stuff on stg.fp.o looks pretty stale compared to what I've seen in the master branch several days ago. Should stg.fp.o be refreshed, or should we wait until the new POT/PO is issued? And can it be refreshed to reflect either a tag, or HEAD on an appropriate branch?

I think that bug list is a great starting point!
The stg.fp.o website is build hourly with what's in the master branch. You should notice the new updates around :25 after the hour. There has been some instances that its not updating properly and that's because there is a bug on the server which is causing it to kernel panic (i think). In that case, nothing gets updated until the server is rebooted.

It's probably not bug in the page itself, but rather something there triggers bug in webkitgtk in F14: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=643300
It would probably help if someone with knowledge of HTML/CSS/JS design and this page helped to create a minimal test case which could trigger this.
It would be rather embarrassing if some of the browsers we ship (epiphany and midori at the very least are using webkitgtk) would crash when trying to load our very front webpage...
Note that both QTWebKit (arora) and KHTML (IIRC konqueror) are fine.
CC-ing webkit list as well (and I apologize for cross-posting, but it looks to me like all the three parties I sent this to are interested in this).
Thanks, Martin
