hi,
i was trying to download fedora 10 x64, but every time i get to 550MB
your server times out. just letting you know that your server isn't
working correctly. Please fix it so i can download your operating
system. i don't like to download from the mirror sites. I would rather
get the operating system directly from your site. thanks
0. We don't know which server you're downloading from. I'm assuming
"download.fedora.redhat.com" but you still need to be specific.
1. Some downloaders have issues with downloading large files. Try using
curl or wget.
2. It doesn't matter where you get the file from, if the MD5SUMs match
and the GPG signature is valid, you know for sure it's from us.
3. If you're still worried about validity, download the file using
BitTorrent. It will check the hashes for you. To get to the
BitTorrent file, please see
http://torrent.fedoraproject.org/.
Please let us know which mirror is having these problems and what
download client you are using, and I will be able to contact the proper
people.
