Hello,
I'm fighting with a big problem: I can't receive files via bluetooth.
Everytime I try to send a file from my mobile phone blueman indicates
a bluetooth connection but after nearly one minute my mobile phone
says that the file couldn't be send.

16 [x] coming?
by Beartooth
Will there be a download of F16 Beta at
http://spins.fedoraproject.org/xfce/#downloads
sometime soon? Or will that page wait for the final official release?
Or ...??

another xfce annoyance
by Lucas
Dear All.
I use XFCE 3 or 4 years already and always was happy how a window placement worked. Normally xfce
remembers last position of the same window and opens new one there it was closed - for instance, if
I open calculator, them move it to some corner, then close it, and then open again and xfce places
it on the same corner.
Now what we have in "window manager tweaks" - is only TWO options: at the center of the screen and
under mouse pointer.
This is ridiculous. XFCE should remember position or at least shouldn't open new window on top of
previous, as it was before.
Or may be I did not find something important.
Thanks .

Re: [Suggestion] Deluge in Xfce spin

[Sorry, the web interface of web.de isn't processing line feeds
correctly, as it seems. So, here another try of my answer.]
Christoph,

I agree with you that deluge-web isn?t needed for a "desktop" live
image. But as stated already, Deluge provides more features than
Transmission, and a better GUI that I personally prefer. :)

I will investigate to see if the package could be split in smaller
parts again and contact the maintainer if I can find some ideas.

deleting files from removable media = move to local trash
by Lucas
Dear All.
I would like to move deleted files on my removable media to my local trash instead of to ".Trash" on
media.
I can be wrong, but probably long time ago I did something for this purpose in xfce. I forgot
completely.
Can some one point me, please, what I need to do?
Thanks in advance.
P.S.
I use Fedora 16 xfce from beta release - everything is fine.
Except:
I removed "tumbler" - it prevents media from unmount.
If I stated "PreferredMode" in xorg.conf.d xfce overrides it by "display" settings and changes
resolution.

F16 Beta XFCE problem
by Stephen John Smoogen
So I installed F16 Beta on a low end box and deselected GNOME and
selected XFCE in the installer. System installed but gdm does not
complete its startup. Looking in the error messages in /var/log/gdm I
see a lot of repeating error messages:
** (gnome-settings-daemon:1125): WARNING **: Connection failed, reconnecting...
setting the system to setenforce 0 and killing 1125 did not fix the issue so I
don;'t think it is selinux related. There are messages in /var/log/messages
stating:

[Suggestion] Deluge in Xfce spin
by Raphael Groner
Hello Xfce fans,
I would like to suggest Deluge (Bittorrent client) as a default package
for the Xfce spin, replacing transmission. It is due to Deluge have
much more features. Features is one of the four basic principles of
Fedora.
""
Deluge is a full-featured BitTorrent client for Linux, OS X, Unix and
Windows. It uses libtorrent in it's backend and features multiple
user-interfaces including: GTK+, web and console. It has been designed
using the client server model with a daemon process that handles all
the bittorrent activity. The Deluge daemon is able to run on headless
machines with the user-interfaces being able to connect remotely from
any platform.
Deluge features a rich plugin collection; in fact, most of Deluge's
functionality is available in the form of plugins.
Deluge was created with the intention of being lightweight and
unobtrusive. It is our belief that downloading shouldn't be the primary
task on your computer and therefore shouldn't monopolize system
resources.
Deluge is not designed for any one desktop environment and will work
just fine in GNOME, KDE, XFCE and others. We do our best to adhere to
the freedesktop standards.
Deluge is Free Software and is licensed under the GNU General Public
License.
