1st: the last yacpi release was 7 years ago
2nd: the it doesn't manage anything - it just displays the current acpi
cpu state and battery capacity. I don't use XFCE but judging from the
name I'd guess that xfce4-power-manager does more than that.

So I guess that the replacement is a bad idea.
