One can only thank those like Fargo, as more people become aware of options
other than Microsoft when it comes to personal computing -- if this is the 75+
year old you mentioned earlier then welcome to the oldies club, my mother is
getting closer to 80s and has been on Fedora for the past 3 years with no
glitches. Of course, she often gets questions from her peers on what Fedora
is, but she's now able to explain it :)
Hi Viorel,
Got one 75+ and one 82 year old duffers. SO, it was one of the two!
This will be my third Fedora in one month. You can thank both
Wells Fargo and Windows Nein, ooops Ten for most of this.
Just curious, did you try changing the browser user agent in Vista?
I have done this before (you have to include the js user switcher
too as most sites have wised up to the regular user agent).
But, I did not do this on a banking site as I did not want to
get sued. I do PCI (credit card security), among other things,
and do not want to open myself up to that kind of liability.
Most of PCI is a paper chase to deflect liability, so I get
a load of it. If you really wanted to improve security on
point of sale machines, you'd forbid the use of Windows
and required SE Linux enabled programs. But ...
