Because we are wasting space on the media we produce.

Ok people, be honest: Who of you doesn't have
Openoffice.org installed
on his system? Who is using abiword and gnumeric instead?
I actually have
OpenOffice.org installed on my system, yes. Guess that
won't last for long, since LibreOffice is on it's way.
Anyway, this wouldn't be any reason for me to argue for shipping
LibreOffice with the XFCE spin. We like to show up how lightweight and
powerful a system can be, do we?
Abiword and Gnumeric of course are no replacement for LibreOffice and I
actually don't use them, thus can't tell much about those. But I agree
with Michael, that they might be lightweight alternatives for an Office
Suite which save space which would be available for other tools then. :)

Dominic
