It should be ~70 mb at least, but I am afraid it is unintuitive.
People will just see that something doesn't work but hardly know how
to fix it. "icedtea" is not really to find in the package management.

I doubt that we cal really remove perl form the spin and even if we
can, it means we loose some features like attaching a file form
Thunar to a mail via the "Send to" menu.
Well, we would need to re-implement that... Probibly in python if not
