I like the new mousepad, so if we think it can get translations before
release time perhaps we could go for that instead of leafpad?
+1, I think we should avoid switching to leafpad if possible because of
the changes in other xfce components such as the panel.

I would say to stick with gdm for this cycle for now, and re-evaluate

Fine! xfce4-remmina-plugin is already reviewed, I'm waiting for remmina.
