mousepad does not have a cr-lf save option, making it next to unusable for me.
gedit will do such, but it is kind of "weird".
leafpad is perfect for what I need and use it ALL-THE-TIME.
Or maybe upgrade mousepad to write in cr-lf if requested and to read utf-8?
