That would make things clear for anyone trying to find their feet with Fedora.
I have to say that having experimented with yum and yumex - neither compare
with apt/synaptic. Big difference when one is searching fpr apps as synaptic
has an interactive search. Don't think i'll get on with yum/yumex.
Perhaps you thought it was a dotty question - PCLOS use apt/synaptic as an rpm
distro and seems to be successful. Only problem the repos seem very small by
comparison with other distros.
