Places plugin and GCC 5

Hi,

I was wondering are there plans to add a Fedora specific patch for this
bug https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=11939 until it is fixed
upstream?  The places plugin is kinda part of any standard XFCE desktop.
If there are plans, but lack of people, I could give it a shot.  I would
need a bit of guidance though.

I tried to rebuild it with the suggestion on that upstream bug, but
didn't have much luck (It still crashed).

It was on my list to look into again, but if you would like to do so,
please by all means do. ;)
