Dear all,
For the past days, I have been testing the Whisker Menu [1] on Fedora Xfce and am impressed by the user experience.
To me, it has several advantages over the currently default menu.
1. It can be triggered and opened using Super key which is a fairly common design standard 2. It allows you to search for applications 3. It integrates the user details into the menu and thus makes having an additional profile section with your name in the panel (usually top right corner) obsolete
What are your thoughts on the Whisker Menu? Could this become the new default menu on Fedora Xfce?
Looking forward to your thoughts and feedback.
Yours
I only use wiskers menu for a long time. Not sure how you open it with the super key though. I'd like to do the same. I've setup super key to open the app-finder app. But opening wiskers would be nicer I think.

Hi Aleksandar et al,
Instructions how to use Whisker with Super key: https://forum.xfce.org/viewtopic.php?pid=49054#p49054
Any other thoughts on making Whisker the default menu for Fedora Xfce?

I personally like to keep Fedora Xfce spin as close to upstream as possible. Since a large number of options are installed by default (using the Xfce spin), users can customize according to their needs.
My two cents.
