Hi Todd,
Does anyone know of a plugin that will flicker when there is hard drive activity?
$ yum install xfce4-diskperf-plugin

The proper way to request a package is: 1. Go to https://admin.fedoraproject.org/pkgdb/ and search for it. Make sure to click on "Packages" and not "Applications". 2. If there is no branch for EPEL6 go to https://bugzilla.redhat.com/ and file a new bug in the Fedora product. Select the desired package as component and add a comment "Hey, can you please..."
Kind regards, Christoph

Hi Christoph,
It was my understanding that RHEL did not support Xfce at all. That you had to go to EPEL for the packages. And that the developers for those packages were on this list. Am I wrong?

No, you are completely correct. EPEL is a community effort mainly supported by Fedora contributors and if you need something for EPEL, here or in Fedora's bugzilla is a good place to ask.

Took a trip to pbone.net. The FC15 rpm work fine. Thank you!
Any chance of getting an official EL6 rpm for this?

I mean this is the _fedora_ Xfce list so one must at least state the fact that one is using something different.

Sorry, I have no idea about EL6.
Maybe you can use the packages from other Fedora repos. It could be necessary to build them newly against the EL6 libraries, but dunno. _______________________________________________ xfce mailing list xfce@lists.fedoraproject.org https://admin.fedoraproject.org/mailman/listinfo/xfce

Odd. My slide bar was bright green for a few days. Now it is black on gray. Preferences says it is still green. The rc file in panel says it is green too.
No big deal. I can live without it. Just thought it was odd.
