xfce4-mount-plugin-0.5.5-4.fc12.i686.rpm
An error occurred. The device should not be removed!
I have an nfs mount, I need "user" to be able to dismount. All I get is above error. Made user a member of wheel\sudoers to see would it help.

How did you mount the share? Can you give me the output of "mount" please?

I'm pretty sure there is more output in ~/.xsession-errors or /var/log/messages.

Mounted in /etc/fstab need for yum-updateonboot (--bugfixes --security)
(but need it unmounted by gui after user login)
Can you give me the output of "mount"

No other relevant (storage\mount) errors

This could be the root problem.

This part now fixed. due to adding "user to fstab.
Still no luck with xfce4-mount-plugin
