Is there any compelling reason to retain older themes in Xfce LIVE iso? For example, bluebird and albatross are themes that have not had releases in quite some time now.
Thoughts?

We don't have to include them on the media no...
I quite like albatross, but thats not a good reason to keep it on the media. ;)

I will submit a PR for removal of bluebird and albatross then.
Does albatross theme work with Xfce 4.14? When I checked it out, every menu is .. squished together.

Hi folks,
I recently installed Fedora 32 and noticed that you're still shipping all those broken Xfce* themes. They were never properly ported to Gtk3, so please drop them.
The other thing I noticed is that elementary-xfce's package is utterly broken. The -darker variant is not really installed and the -darkest is missing altogether.
Btw we've been working hard upstream to make Xfce more appealing out of the box, so also in Fedora, with 4.16. Do you set up repos for pre-releases so people can test e.g. the recent 4.16pre1 release?
Cheers Simon

This is in my list of things to change but have not got to it. Can you please point out specific ones if you already know? I will get them removed from the default installation as applicable.

What package is this? I do not see this theme in live image or repos? Any chance you are referring to an icon theme?

Yes. I have been slowly getting things up to speed. It is missing thunar-volman at the moment but everything else should be good. I just have not announced it to the wider community yet. I will need to make some changes though (e.g. Applications menu is weird, by default). I want to make it look decent (like the one in 4.14 or earlier).

Xfce 4.16 will be available in Fedora 34 formally. My plan is to submit xfce-4.16 as a change for Fedora 34. F33 will have my COPR repo.

Well, that's the elementary-xfce-icon-theme package, which is maintained by me. The problem is that the installation scripts included are not working for fedora, when building. Thus, I tried to fix all the problems, but apparently this was not sufficient. Also I removed the -darkest theme on purpose, because it didn't really bring a lot of benefits, but was a realy hassle, when building the package.
