How did you set up the vm?
Same as I did my x86_64, line for line, except architecture was i686
and I added a USB device.
while i tested on f16 host using kvm and x86_64 as the arch it is
booting just fine.
So did mine (x86_64). Sorry I did not make that more clear.
I am having problems with the i686 spin.
i get a desktop working in about 15-20 seconds. i
believe if you set the arch to 1686 or 1386 you actually dont get kvm
used and just plain qemu which is much much slower

Is there a way to boot off the Xfce spin, go in to text mode (init 3)
and do the install from there?
