[Zarafa] RPM Fusion is shipping Z-Push

Hello everybody,

even more good things come to those who wait longer...25 months after the
beginning I am proud to be able to tell you: RPM Fusion is shipping Z-Push!
Z-Push is an Open Source implementation of the ActiveSync protocol which is
used 'over-the-air' for multi-platform ActiveSync devices, including common
Windows Mobile, iPhone, Android, Sony Ericsson and Nokia mobile devices.

A huge "Thank you!" to all who supported my work: Zarafa Brazil (Sebastian
Kummer, Manfred Kutas), Zarafa Netherlands (Milo Oostergo, Brian Joseph,
Rémon van Gijn), Zarafa Germany (Helmuth Neuberger), Fedora Project (Tom
Callaway), RPM Fusion (Thorsten Leemhuis), Cies Breijs and Imar van Erven
Dorens (former Zarafa people). And another "Thank you!" to all I forgot...

RPM Fusion provides software that the Fedora Project or Red Hat does not
ship for different reasons. That software is provided as precompiled RPMs
for all current Fedora versions and Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 and 6; you
can use the RPM Fusion repositories with tools like yum and PackageKit. So
RPM Fusion is a merger of the repositories Dribble, Freshrpms, and Livna;
with the goal to simplify end-user experience by grouping as much add-on
software as possible in a single location.

As Z-Push is being shipped by RPM Fusion, it is not included in Fedora,
because Exchange ActiveSync is patented by Microsoft in several regions
including the United States. Software which is legally encumbered, cannot
be included in Fedora, because it conflicts with the Fedora foundations:

To install Z-Push (in a simple setup) using the command line, execute the
following as root:

  yum install zarafa-z-push

If you are just looking for Z-Push without any Zarafa integration, execute
the following as root at the command line:

  yum install z-push

Please note, that in every case the repository RPM Fusion has to be enabled
before: http://rpmfusion.org/Configuration

Keep in mind, that RPM Fusion is available for Fedora as well as for Red
Hat Enterprise Linux and derivates like CentOS. So if you enable the RPM
Fusion repository on a RHEL server, you will always have a fully up-to-date
z-push in your productive environment when you run "yum update" regulary.
